The panel discussion took place at the International Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property (ATRIP) 42nd Congress hosted by Luiss University in Rome, Italy.
Professor Datzov was invited to lead the panel discussion with professors from around the world, including Italy, Canada, Brazil, Ireland, and Scotland. He commented that it was “a fascinating conversation with diverse perspectives on the emerging questions surrounding patents and AI.” Datzov frequently writes and presents on topics relating to AI and patents, and “the opportunity to discuss some of the most pressing AI patent questions in the U.S. with other thought leaders from around the world was invaluable to my own scholarship and to helping advance the conversation on better policies for these issues around the world.”
